Donate pet food and help set a Guinness world record

The Benoni Remax Randgro will attempt to beat the existing Guinness Book world record for the collection of pet food which is currently standing at 10 000kg.

To achieve the record, 1 250 eight kg pet food units will be required, the goal is to collect and distribute 20 000kg of pet food with the help of Benoni residents who wish to donate.

The pet food will be distributed to preferably East Rand non-governmental organisations (NGOs) with registered certificates such as SPCA and any other non-profit organisations that require pet food.

The physical collection will only take place between February 24 till March 2 during 8.30am till 4pm.

Collection points will be set up during these times, or alternatively contact Remax agents on 011 306 6600, and your donations will be collected from you.

The main collection point will be at the offices of Remax-Randgro, at 45 Lakefield Avenue, where donations will be accepted.

The food will be weighed at Remax by qualified officials on March 2 and 3.
