Stolen vehicles recovered in Crystal Park
Two stolen vehicles and a stolen motorcycle were recovered on a property in Crystal Park, on March 13.
The recoveries were made after Netstar traced the signals of a Mazda, which was stolen in Brakpan, on March 12, to a house in Heilbron Road.
“Upon arrival they managed to gain entry into the yard, and found the vehicle that they were tracking,” said Crystal Park SAPS media liaison officer Tryna Maritz.
“There was, however, another vehicle — a Ford Ranger, single cab — also parked in the yard, together with a Kymco motorcycle.”
Crystal Park SAPS and CPF responded and discovered that the Ranger had been stolen in Dawn Park, on February 5.
The motorcycle was stolen on June 23, 2012, in City Deep.
The vehicles were impounded.
No arrests have been made and police are still investigating.
