Easter rugby festival a first for Benoni
St Dunstan’s College will host the inaugural St Dunstan’s College Easter Rugby Festival, on the school’s grounds, from Thursday, April 17, to Monday, April 21, and schoolboy rugby fans in Benoni are in for a real treat.
Alan Thompson, St Dunstan’s College’s rector, said: “We are delighted to be hosting the inaugural St Dunstan’s College Easter Rugby Festival.
“Rugby is an incredible game, invoking passion from the crowds and requiring 100 per cent commitment from the players.
“It is a delight to be hosting what will become the highlight of schoolboy rugby on the East Rand.”
Participating schools are St Dunstan’s College, Benoni High School, Hoërskool Hans Moore, Hoërskool Brandwag, St Benedict’s College, Heronbridge College, Hoërskool Birchleigh, Falcon College (Zimbabwe), Stanford Lake College and Ashton International College (Ballito).
