Marisela Veludo contributes to Miss Portugal South Africa pageant
The glamorous Miss Portugal South Africa 2014 pageant gala crowning is on its way and local Passion4Fashion fashion designer Marisela Veludo was chosen to design the nine finalists' smart casual wear.
Also a modelling coach at Marisela Veludo Modelling School and Performing Arts, Veludo will coach and choreograph their opening act for the event, which will be held in Carnival City’s Big Top Arena, on July 19.
Veludo feels passionate about delivering traditional Portuguese culture through fashion.
“I am designing traditional Portuguese smart casual dresses, which are called the Azure Impressions Collection,” said Veludo.
The collection will be revealed on the crowning night, when the finalists stage a proudly Portuguese modelling performance called “Esperanca”, choreographed and coached by Veludo.
“It is being kept quite a secret, as I want the collection to be a surprise to the general public,” she said.
The night is set to be full of beauty, elegance and entertainment, which will all be proudly Portuguese.
The audience can also look forward to performances from MiCasa and other supporting South African acts.
