Man also found in possession of tik

The suspect has been linked to housebreakings which occurred in May and July, last year, on properties in Totius Road, Conway and Orchard streets.

Consts Azwindi Mabuda and Edwin Mdhluli arrested the 32-year-old at a Putfontein home, after police received a tip-off.

They also found 10 packets of tik in the man’s possession.

The suspect was due to appear in the Benoni Magistrates Court on June 23, on charges of housebreaking and possession of drugs.
