Tappers donate computers

There's always time to give back.

The Potential Tappers organisation, with the assistance of Malherbe Rigg and Ranwell Attorneys (MMR), has donated computers to Etwatwa Secondary School, in Wattville.

The computers were handed over to deputy principals Veli Mzimela and Todd Bane.

“The 10 computers will help to alleviate pressure on the school, and give over 500 students access to the computers,” said Potential Tappers founder Sizwe Sibiya.

Mzimela expressed his gratitude for the computers and praised the group for their contribution.

“This group of extraordinary young people are truly an inspiration,” he said.

“It gives the school tremendous joy to see our former students back within our grounds, only this time it’s to be a positive influence on the learners.”

Potential Tappers was founded by Sibiya, Tshepo Radebe, Mpho Ledwaba, Mpho Mofokeng, Simphiwe Sekoati, Mandla Mavimbela and Sibusiso Gamane.

Etwatwa Secondary School was not chosen randomly, it’s Sibiya’s former secondary school.

The Tappers have also partnered with the school to help learners with school work.

“We are providing tutoring classes, motivational talks and life coaching,” said Sibiya.

The Tappers believe “all you need to do is plant a seed of endless possibilities, and the learners will live up to that philosophy and become the best they can be”.
