Low water pressure should be resolved

The two-year long low water pressure problems in Brentwood Park should be resolved with the instillation of a new valve on the main water line feeding the area.

A 400mm water valve will be replaced on October 23, between 9am and 6pm.

Water will be switched off in Brentwood Park and Goedeburg during the time the work is conducted.

Clr André du Plessis, of Ward 23, said he escalated the matter to the office of the Chief Operations Officer after the municipality told him the low water pressure in the area was the norm.

Water tankers will be made available at these intersections on October 23:

n Kirschner and Dickinson roads.

n Vryburg and High roads.

n Beryl Street and Great North Road.
