Police arrested three men in Snake Road following a robbery in Pretoria

Police arrested three men in Snake Road, following a business robbery in Pretoria, on December 4.

The men had allegedly stolen a BMW during a business robbery in Wonderboom, earlier.

Police spokesman Capt Mack Mngomezulu said the car was fitted with a tracker so members of the Pretoria SAPS Dog Unit and the tracker company followed up the signal.

They spotted the vehicle parked at the intersection of Snake Road and Heron Street, with three occupants.

Mngomezulu said that, upon noticing the police, one of the suspects jumped out and ran away, but a police dog was set on him.

He was caught and arrested along with his accomplices.

Police also recovered two firearms with eight live rounds.

The men, aged 27, 37 and 42, were detained at the Benoni SAPS and are expected to appear soon in the Benoni Magistrates Court.
