Princess Charlene’s Benoni family celebrates the arrival of the royal twins

Princess Charlene's Benoni's family, her parents, Mike and Lynette Wittstock and her younger brother Sean,  were all in Benoni when she gave birth to the twins on Wednesday.

Princess Charlene’s father, Mike Wittstock said: “We are very happy with the birth of the twins, this has taken a great deal of pressure from the Prince and the Princess, they have done a great job.

“I will take the back seat and be a proud grandfather.”

“I will be sending my wife over to be with her, as she has done so with our other children, Sean and Gareth when they had their children, she is her mother  and a grandmother to four now and she would want to be by her side.”

Prince Jacques, Honoré, Rainier will be the crown prince, in accordance with the historic custom established by the treaty of Péronne (1641).

He shall receive the title of Marquis of Baux (in Provence).

Princess Gabriella, Thérèse, Marie, second child in the line of succession, shall receive the title of Countess of Carladès (in Auvergne).

Following the birth of twins on Wednesday, (December 10) cannons were fired in the principality to celebrate.

Social Media enthusiasts  and all media houses went crazy on Wednesday night as soon as news broke of the birth of the two children.
