Robbers crash into wall
Three male suspects crashed a stolen vehicle into a wall, after a house robbery in Farrarmere, on Wednesday (April 22).
Around 6.50am, the men entered the property through the unlocked gate and proceeded to break the security gate into the backyard.
They forced the female domestic worker, who was working in the backyard, into the house.
The men covered her with a duvet before stealing various items, including three TVs and jewellery.
The suspects left in a a silver Mercedes, which had been stolen in Boksburg North earlier.
After the robbers left the house, the domestic worker inside the house activated the alarm to notify CMS.
CMS spotted the vehicle leaving the premises and chased the robbers, while notifying SAPS.
CMS chased the robbers, until they crashed into a trailer and wall on the corner of Coleridge and Wilge roads, in Farrarmere.
One suspect was arrested for house robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle.
The arrested suspect is in Tembisa Hospital, under police guard and his court date has been postponed until May 5.
The other two suspects are still at large.
