Ladies show support for the Benoni Child Welfare

The Benoni Child Welfare recently held a ladies tea in order to raise much-needed funds for the organisation.

A number of ladies from Benoni attended the event and enjoyed delicious cakes, cupcakes and savoury bites.

They were also treated to a few songs from the children of Colin House and entertaining numbers from Jeff Posthumus.

Elsie Labuschagne, Benoni Child Welfare director, thanked staff members for their continued hard work and those who attended and contributed to the organisation.

She gave guests a brief background of the Benoni Child Welfare and added that it supports 2400 foster families in Benoni and Daveyton.

Deborah Nel was the guest speaker and she inspired and motivated the audience with several life lessons.
