High school artists join art route

The monthly Benoni Art Route is coming up and, each month, the exhibition includes a guest artist.

Carl Kumm is one of 12 pupils from Hans Moore High School who will be exhibiting their art along the Benoni Art Route, on May 31. He is seen with Brechtje Harmse, the visual art teacher at the school.

In order to encourage the development of art among the youth, the guest artist for May is a group of pupils from Hoërskool Hans Moore, who will be stationed at the Benoni Country Club, Morris Avenue, on the Benoni Art Route.

This exhibition, on May 31, will include 12 pupils from Hans Moore, along with several regular artists on the route, Coleen Venter, Lea Kirsten, John Kirkwood and Susan Smit.

The Benoni Art Route is open on the last Sunday of every month, to anyone who enjoys aesthetic work.
