Lucky and his accomplices, who are still on the run, were accused of the rape and murder of Nomatshala Dora Bosson (21) and the murder of her brother, Johannes Motlalifana Bosson (20), in the veld in Brentwood Park, during May 2010.
Both the deceased had multiple stab wounds to their bodies.
Investigation by Det WO Peter Mbonani led to the arrest, after he received information about Shezi squatting in an open field in Springs, on August 4, 2014.
Shezi was immediately arrested and the case began in the Benoni Regional Court, but, due to the status of the matter, it was transferred to the Delmas High Court.
