On July 7, a home in Typhoon Street was broken into and robbed by three males.
At around 1pm, the domestic worker, who was working outside at the time, saw a man enter the house and followed him, screaming for help.
When she got inside, another man closed the door behind her.
“The three men grabbed several items from the house, then fled on foot,” said Const Zunickha Essakjee, Benoni SAPS communication officer.
Two children, who live in the house, were present at the time of the robbery, but no information on their testimony or condition was available at the time of going to press.
The robbers are still at large.
