The suspects were arrested on the early hours of Monday, July 7.
Police were tipped off by Community Police Forum (CPF) members when they spotted a suspicious white Corolla on the corner of Falcon Street and Oriole Crescent in Crystal Park.
The police managed to stop the vehicle on the corner of Du Randt and Springs Roads.
The men were found with tinned meat, rat poison wrapped in plastic bags, pairs of pliers, Allen keys and lock nuts in the boot of their car.
All four suspects will remain in custody until their next court appearance on July 13.
Detectives from Crystal Park SAPS are still investigating the case.
