Passario stylists provide beauty transformation

Ever felt like randomly changing your look with a make over?

Chey Crompton took up the challenge and got her hair, nails and face done at Passario Salon, at Oakfield Shopping Centre.

  • Hair

Chey’s hair was done by Brett Tompsett.

She wanted her hair to be transformed into something modern and “out there”.

Brett decided to colour Chey’s roots darker and did an Ombré, where her hair colour blends from dark to silver.

Since Chey’s hair was long, Brett textured it by chopping between the hair to give it volume and body.

Hair products were applied to give her hair shine and volume.

  • Nails

Chey’s stiletto nails were done by Kerry- lee Hall.

Kerry first cut off dead skin and prepared the nails by buffing and applying a gel over-layer and primer.

She then applied a base coat to the nails and placed them in a UV light to bake for 30 seconds.

Kerry then applied a gel colour called “Break a sweat”, which is deep purple and provides the nails with a natural shine.

After, the nails were placed in the UV light, another layer of colour was applied.

A diamante was glued onto the ring and into fingers, and a gel top coat was applied.

Gel wipes were used to wipe off the sticky produce left by the top coat.

The last step was applying the Essie cuticle oil and massage cream.

  • Make-up

For her make-up, Chey wanted a dramatic eye and a soft coloured lip.

Andri Leonida- Enslin, make-up artist, applied foundation from Studio Make-up on Chey’s face blending it with her skin tone.

Concealer was applied underneath the eyes – this helps to conceal any redness, marks and pimples.

A translucent powder, which helps set the foundation, was applied over her eye area and minimal on her cheeks.

Andri applied black eyeshadow following the shape of Chey’s eyebrows.

For the “dramatic” eye look she applied grey and black eyeshadow in the crease area of Chey’s eyes, blending it as she applied it.

An Ice Shimmer was used on the corner of the eyes, this brings out the eyes and brow area – which makes it appear larger.

A black eye pencil was used to give Chey’s eyes a smokey look, and Maybeline mascara was applied on the eye lashes.

White glitter was applied on her eye lids for a little shine.

A tea-berry colour (mixture between peach and pink) blush was used underneath her cheek bones – which shaped her face.

The lips were applied with natural lip liner, “brave” lipstick from Mac cosmetics and lip lacquer gloss in crystal pink.
