The incident happened at 12.30pm today (August 26).
Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson, Tryna Maritz, said it is alleged that five armed men went into the business and demanded money from the owner (58).
“The business owner was shot in the stomach,” said Maritz.
The suspects fled with cell phones and an undisclosed amount of money.
ER24 airlifted the man to the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.
No arrests have been made.
Police are still at the scene.
