UPDATE: Missing parrot a priority for Morehill woman following burglary
Recovering her 10-year-old African Grey parrot is Casey Stringer's top priority after her Morehill home was broken into yesterday (September 9).

The parrot, Cuddles, has been missing since the home invasion, and Stringer said finding her is all that matters to her now.
Four homes were burgled at the Forest Glen complex in Morehill.
Benoni SAPS spokesperson, Lieut Nomsa Sekele, said police suspect the criminal(s) knocked on doors of the homes and entered houses where no one was home.
The perpetrator(s) entered all the properties by forcing their way through the front doors.
The Morehill resident said a TV, laptop, bedding, clothes, shoes and a camera were some of the items stolen from her home.
Stringer told the City Times she has put up flyers of Cuddle’s disappearance and visited several SPCAs and veterinary centres around the East Rand to locate Cuddles.
She said four flying feathers and one tail feather was on the floor of the house when she arrived home, but the cage was still in the house.
“It feels like someone died; if I had answers it would be easier,” she said.
“I just want her back, I don’t care about anything else.”
She hopes the criminals threw the parrot outside and did not take her with them.
Meanwhile, the chairperson of the Forest Glen complex body corporate, Albertus Botes, said the criminals might have snuck into the complex by tailgating someone or conning them to open the gate for them.
Stringer is offering at least R1 500 reward for anyone who finds Cuddles.
She can be contacted on 084 298 4318.
No arrests have been made.
