Accident injures 10 in Benoni CBD

The accident occurred on the corner of Ampthill Avenue and Swan Street.

“On assessment, paramedics found that 10 occupants from the taxi had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate,” said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

“Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and transported them to Sunshine Hospital for further treatment.”

No one was injured in the light motor vehicle.

The cause of the collision will be investigated by local authorities.
