‘Panty dropper’ sticker shocks mother
A mother is horrified after she and her daughter witnessed “graphic stickers” on the boot of a car, allegedly driven by a high school pupil.

A woman was driving her 13-year-old daughter to school on March 10, when she stopped behind a vehicle at a Northmead intersection.
“As the mother of a Grade Eight pupil (my daughter turned 13 in mid-December) I was horrified to read the stickers this young man (assuming he is 18) had stuck on his car,” she said.
The stickers read “Panty dropper” and “My other ride is your daughter”.
The woman said the wording shocked her and her daughter and led to an embarrassing moment in the car for the two.
The Northmead resident said she is not a prude and knows her daughter will be exposed to such cases, but said it is inappropriate for the driver to have such stickers on his car.
“The fact that this child has been allowed by his parents to display these on a car presumably bought by them is indicative of the flaws we have in society today,” she said.
“To me, this shows that this boy is growing up with little to no respect for women, and I shudder to think what lies ahead for any potential spouse in his future.
“We try to instil all sorts of values in our children, especially since we live in a country where rape and abuse is so prolific.
“When this kid arrives at your door to take your daughter out to the movies, I’m sure you too will see the ‘humour’.”
The resident said she forwarded the information to the school concerned.
She said the school told her the pupil has been asked to remove the stickers and would not be allowed to drive his vehicle to school if he does not remove them.
Lieut-Col Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD spokesperson, said the driver is not contravening any law by having the stickers on his car.
