At least 11 injured in N12 accident

The accident took place just after the Kingsway off-ramp, on the N12 eastbound.

According to Kelly Burchell, ER24 spokesperson, a bakkie and taxi were involved in the collision, which occurred on Tuesday night (April 12).

She said ER24 transported eight patients from the scene, none of whom were critically injured.

“The two vehicles veered off the road and rolled, but there were no fatalities,” Burchell said.

She added that several other emergency services had transported patients from the scene, though she could not confirm the exact number of patients.

At the time of publication, the other emergency services had not commented and the cause of the accident was still unknown.
