Pupils excel in Benoni Eisteddfod

Shanan Christian School pupil Danielle Hanvey achieved numerous awards at the Benoni Eisteddfod. She was awarded Prestige awards in dramatized poetry, Afrikaans voorgeskrewe gedigte and unprepared reading. Harvey received an Honours award in English pre-scribed Poetry. She was also the section winner in Solo Singing Musical Theatre section and the runner up in the Grade Seven Solo Singing section.

Shanon2_91058 — Zchané Zietsman, a Shanan Christian School pupil achieved the following awards at the Benoni Eisteddfod. Zietsman received Prestige awards for dramatized poetry and unprepared reading. She also awarded prestige awards in the piano exam trinity and the monologue sections. She was the section winner in the Solo Singing Grade Six and Solo Singing Musical Theatre. Zietman was awarded a gold certificate in the Solo Singing in another language (Italian) section and awarded the trophy for the best senior singer in the primary schools section.
