Six injured in Benoni South accident

The incident took place at around 10.40am, near the corner of Liverpool Road and Bolton Street, in Benoni South.

Kelly Burchell, ER24 spokesperson, said five of the patients sustained minor injuries, while one suffered moderate to serious injuries.

“Five patients, including the one with moderate to serious injuries, were transported to hospital by ER24,” she said.

“The sixth patient was taken to hospital by Netcare 911.”

Burchell said there were no fatalities and the cause of the accident was undetermined at the time of publishing.
