Political parties still campaigning?
Although local elections took place on August 3 and election posters should have been removed after 14 days from the date of election, some posters have still not been removed.
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) spokesperson Themba Gadebe said a fine of R41 will be issued for every poster that has not yet been removed.
If you come across any election posters, report it to the EMM Call Centre on 011 999 6322.
At the time of going to print, it was unclear whether the EFF had been fined for these posters.
