The operation was held between 9.30am and 2pm on December 2.
Capt Nomsa Sekele, Benoni SAPS spokesperson, said police also confiscated alcohol and issued fines to the value of R15 000.
“This kind of liquor operation will be ongoing throughout the festive season as most of the crimes reported from those areas emanate from illegal liquor trading,” said Sekele.
