Nelly is the voice of Putfontein SAPS
Const Nelly Modiba has been appointed as the new communications officer for the Putfontein Police Station, effective January 16.
Modiba, who joined the station in 2010 as a social crime prevention coordinator, says she’s looking forward to the challenge and is willing to learn.
“I am looking forward to serving the community with respect and dignity, as we are here to protect and serve them,” said Modiba.
She will continue performing her social crime prevention duties.
Putfontein station commander Lieut-Col Wellington Mathiane said he’s seen potential in Modiba and has faith that she’ll do a great job, especially because she’s dedicated to serving her community.
