Gekombineerde Skool Noorderlig’s chess players excelled at the recent Individual Chess Tournament at Mooifontein Primary School. Sosulwe Ngalo (left, Grade 10) won the u-15 girls’ section, Neo Makofane (Grade 10) won gold and Olwethu Nhlapo (Grade 10) was placed second in the boys’ u-15 section.

Gekombineerde Skool Noorderlig’s Khasoane Khasoane (left, Grade 12) was placed first and Xola Tsitshiba (Grade 10) second in the boys’ u-18 section at the Individual Chess Tournament that was recently hosted by Mooifontein Primary School.

Gekombineerde Skool Noorderlig se Bradley Engelbrecht (Graad Vier) het pas sy Mental Maths sertifikaat ontvang. Hy het op provinsiale vlak deelgeneem en is as skolevlak-wenner aangewys.
