Kids Haven enjoys the Easter spirit
Kids Haven felt the delight of charity on Easter weekend.
Blessing Lives, a non-profit organisation (NPO) based in Randburg, treated the children to a day of hotdogs, sweets, fruit and entertainment.
The group also handed over several boxes filled with clothing to the home.
The clothes were donated by Jam Clothing.
Blessing Lives’ band performed praise and worship songs to entertain the children, though some young singers and gumboot dancers from the home itself also enlivened their peers.
Natasha Andrew, co-founder of the NPO, said they wanted to spread the love of Christ over Easter, and this was the second year they had visited Kids Haven.
About 30 more boxes of clothing were also given to the New Beginnings Care Centre, based in Boksburg.
