Online admission for 2018 opens

The online admission for Grade One and Eight for the 2018 academic year has officially started.

Applications commenced today (May 2) and will close on June 12 at midnight.

Parents can log on to the website: www.gdeadmissions.gov.za to apply for either Grade One or Grade Eight.

Gauteng Department of Education acting head of communication, Oupa Bodibe, said they have noted that parents have already applied before the stipulated admissions period.

“However, parents who applied before 8am on May 2 should note that their application is invalid and they should log on again to apply,” said Bodibe.

Re-enrolment for Grade Two to Seven and Grade Nine to 11 started on April 18.

There will be no de-centralised venues.

All schools will be used as centres for registration; parents can visit schools closest to them or the Ekurhuleni North District Office on 78 Howard Avenue, Benoni CBD.
