Stay calm as Geoscience helicopter conducts a survey
If you have recently noticed a helicopter flying at a low proximity, it is the Council for Geoscience conducting a survey of the area.
The survey which started in June and is due to finish in August, will include parts of Benoni and other areas.
A specially equipped helicopter will be seen flying at a low level over the designated areas, but will avoid built-up areas.
An electromagnetic survey-sensing unit has been slung underneath the helicopter.
