Easterns help fill hungry bellies on Mandela Day
The Eastern Cricket Union’s staff and players from the semi-professional team performed their random act of kindness for Mandela Day at Sahara Park Willowmoore on Friday, July 21.
They cooked and distributed lunches to the homeless and hungry on Benoni’s streets as well as to children from Zamukuhle Care Centre (in Wattville) and Kids Haven (in the Benoni CBD).
Y-Drive assisted with busses to transport the children.
