Has this man shared a message with you on the street?

A Northmead man has been uplifting people on Benoni’s streets for about a year-and-a-half.

Michael “Moses” Durelle (40), who said he is well known in Benoni, approaches people at hospitals, shopping centres and in the streets to share Bible verses.

He tries to uplift community members. In addition, he sells crafts with biblical messages.

“That’s where my bread and butter – and jam – comes from,” he said.

He said he also feeds and clothes street children when he has spare money.
