Wanna-be racing drivers caught on Great North Road

The speedsters clocked between 107km/h and 115km/h.

EMPD media liaison officer Kobeli Mokheseng said the speedsters were caught exceeding the enforced speed limit of 70km/h.

All the speedsters were detained at the Benoni Police Station.

They are expected to appear in the Benoni Magistrate’s Court soon to face charges of reckless and negligent driving.
