Public transport vehicles tested for free

During the month of October, public transport vehicles and trucks with a gross vehicle mass of 3 500kg can be tested for free.

This forms part of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality’s (EMM) programmes during transport month.

These vehicles must be designed to transport 12 or more passengers and include the likes of trucks, taxis, buses and scholar transport.

Vehicles can be taken to any of the City’s active vehicle testing centres on weekdays only from 8am to 3pm.
