Residents enjoy art competition

The Benoni-based company runs the competition every year.

Contestants were required to draw a person.

The winners’ artwork will feature on all the company’s marketing material.

“This is our way of giving back to the community,” said Marike van Zyl from Demix.

“We usually do it with schools This year we decided to do it with elderly citizens.”

The winners are:

• First: Sally Lloyd (R1 500)

• Second: Florence Carstens (R1 000)

• Third: Gideon du Plessis (R450)
