Matrics part with their school shoes

Over 500 pairs of school shoes and several uniforms were handed down to less fortunate children by the matriculants of Benoni High, Willowmoore High and Liverpool Secondary schools.

The school shoes and uniforms were collected by the two women on Monday (November 27).

The heartwarming idea was initiated by Sharol Naidoo and Rose Maja who are part of House of Hope.

“The items will be given to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society,” Naidoo said.

Maja added that the aim of the project was to help children who do not have the finances to buy these items.

Maja and Naidoo are still collecting shoes and uniforms and can be contacted on 074 449 5921 (Naidoo) and 081 348 9077 (Maja).
