Lions in need of donations
The Benoni Lions Club is looking for donations of unwanted goods to be sold at their jumble and second-hand book sales.
The club would appreciate any donation of clean clothing in good condition, children’s clothes, kitchenware and linen.
A monthly jumble sale is held at the Benoni Lions Community Centre at 111 Howard Avenue on the last Saturday of the month.
They also have a monthly book sale at Mall @ Carnival.
All the funds raised from the jumble and book sale are put back into the community through service projects for people and organisations in need within the Benoni and surrounding areas.
