The East Rand Scouts welcomed Cubs, Scouts and members of the public to Arrowe Park on March 4 for the annual Open Water Swim fund-raiser.
The First Benoni Sea Scouts event drew swimmers who competed in the 250m, 400m, 750m, 1 000m and relay events.
Mirriam and Reabetswe Taele (10) are from Brakpan. Reabetswe, a Tom Newby School learner, was due to swim in the 250m event.Daniel Cubitt swam in the 750m event.
