New wheels for Benoni Child Welfare
A generous sponsorship to lead to many happy kilometers on the road
Imperial Managed Solutions Southern Africa Cross Border and Imperial Nissan East Rand Mall joined forces to donate a 16-seater Nissan NV350 to the value of R410 000 to Benoni Child Welfare (BCW).
This will allow the organisation to transport its children and staff in safety and style.
“This is a much-needed donation,” says BCW director Elsie Labuschagne.
“We have four smaller, older vehicles in our current fleet, but they have high mileage and are often in need of repair.
“We will use this 16-seater to transport our children to and from school, therapy, hospital, assessments, home visits and other activities, as well as transport staff to training, meetings and crisis cases.”

Benoni Child Welfare has been caring for vulnerable children since 1924.
It currently houses 20 children in Colin House, its child and youth care centre.
It also has two offices, in Northmead, Benoni, and a satellite office in Daveyton.
The organisation also has a sexual assault clinic.
“We were in the fortunate position to be able to donate this vehicle,” said Gerrie de Jonge, managing director for Imperial Managed Solutions Southern Africa.
“We are happy to contribute to the community we operate in and where many of our employees live, especially to an organisation such as BCW that does such excellent work to protect our children.”
Visual branding company Graffiti agreed to wrap the vehicle with colourful BCW branding, free of charge.
The vehicle was handed over to the charity on July 18 at the head office of Imperial Managed Solutions in Boksburg.
“We are extremely grateful to Imperial Logistics,” said Labuschagne.
“We couldn’t even dream about a sponsorship this big, nor that it would be branded in such an attractive way.”
