Crystal Park SAPS keeps learners warm
The aim of the donation was to give back to the community under the theme ‘love is sharing’.
The Crystal Park SAPS donated school jerseys and trousers to 13 underprivileged learners at seven schools in the area on July 24.
This act of kindness was made possible by the Crystal Park SAPS officers, administrators, Victim Empowerment Centre (VEC) volunteers and patrollers.
The aim of the donation was to give back to the community under the theme ‘love is sharing’.
Sergeant Lerato Mopeli, Crystal Park crime prevention officer, said this initiative was close to her heart, and was happy that her wish to give back came true.

“I thank everyone who has made it possible, and may God continue to bless them so they can also assist others,” said Mopeli.
“I will also be donating school shoes soon and would like to challenge community members and businesses to lend a helping hand so we can donate at least 100 pairs.”
