Bridge2Africa will be hosting the Cyber Festival/Cyber City Fun Run at Benoni High School on August 26, from 8am to 4pm, which is aimed at promoting a safer cyberspace.
The annual event will attract runners from all over Ekurhuleni and include live music, refreshments, food and plenty of giveaways.
About 5 000 people are expected to participate in the 5km run.
Residents are encouraged to come and experience this internet safety campaign which addresses cyber civility, cyber crimes, cyber security, cyber law, and which will promote the Young Leaders Project and Student Innovation Project (Smart Kids Initiative).

Participants should dress in white. All levels of runners, walkers, twirlers, dancers and strollers are welcome.
Bridge2Africa is a registered non-profit organisation which runs the National Cyber Project in communities using its digital platforms to embrace the latest technologies to reach out to diverse demographics in various communities.
