The Crystal Park SAPS have opened an inquest docket after the decomposed body of a man was discovered at a plot in Willow Road, Petit, on Monday (January 14).
Spokesperson Const Alex Mokidi said a member of the community discovered the body after investigating an unpleasant smell on the property.
“The police were contacted and officers discovered the body, which was already decomposed,” said Mokidi.

“It is not clear how long the man had been dead.”
He was dressed in brown trousers, a brown jacket with black and white stripes and red and white takkies.
