It was another successful Pages and Wine event at the Benoni Country Club on June 20 with author Edmund-George King, who had the women intrigued not only by his accent, but his book too.
The Senior Adviser author was born and bred in France, but fell in love with South Africa in the 1990s.
The Pretoria resident read a few paragraphs from his book before dinner was served and names for the lucky draws were chosen.
