Budding gardeners all ready to get down and dirty on Mandela Day at the Abraham Kriel Bambanani Children's Home.

Rynfield resident Laantie le Roux, accompanied by co-team leader Paul Nkhoma and a group of enthusiastic volunteers, put their green fingers to good use on Mandela Day.

With the sponsorship assistance of Centurion-based company Agfri, gardening enthusiast le Roux assembled a team to work on the restoration of the garden ahead of the summer season, as well as much-needed window cleaning at the Abraham Kriel Bambanani Children’s Home in Airfield.
