A case of murder was opened at the Actonville Police Station yesterday (August 2) after a man was shot and killed at around 7.15pm.
“The victim was shot while standing next to his brother’s car in front of a shop,” said Benoni SAPS spokesperson, Capt Nomsa Sekele.
She added that the motive behind killing the 40 year old is still unknown.
“Nobody has been arrested as yet but investigations are underway,” she said.
