“The temples provide education through our Tamil schools, music, dance and drama.

“We have our yearly regional Eisteddfod whereby these art forms are performed.

“The temples also provides aid for various needs such as weekly soup kitchen, blanket drives, free classes for students in their various subjects and observes all religious prayers and occasions.

“Any member of the public can join an affiliate in their respective areas as there is no restricted number.

“If they want to be an active contributor towards the upliftment and socio-development of the community or be a member on the board they would need to follow the codes of our constitution,” she concluded.
