Golfing for a good cause

The Almond Tree programme places vulnerable children into a family environment. Their facilities in Benoni and Delmas currently have about 70 children in their care.

Caitlyn Wright, Miss Benoni, hosted a charity golf day at the Benoni Country Club on August 7. A sum of R25 500 was raised and donated to her nominated charity, the Almond Tree Children’s Home.

The day was contested on a four-ball alliance format (two to count) and a prize-giving dinner held on conclusion of the successful day.

The four-ball comprising Dimitri Seritis, Dax Menday, Mike Seritis and Greg Fridberg walked away with first prize.

Miss Benoni would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all those who contributed to a worthy cause.

The City Times was there.
