Border War fighters commemorated

The monies raised are not only given to charities, it is also used to restore war graves and fund the MOTHS for future events.

It was a day of commemoration for the MOTHS at their premises in Benoni South through the South African War Grave Society and MOTH Reveille Shellhole Border War Commemorative Service and Veteran Military Fair.

Members of the MOTH Reveille Shellhole commemorated those who fought in the Border War and gave their lives, particularly those belonging to the East Rand.

Lt Greg Menego also attended the event but set up and organised the fair where visitors could support the MOTHS and the work that they do.
