U3A members delighted by tour guide lecture

Sonja Richter has been a tour guide to the USA Kennedy family as well as the late Nelson Mandela and other famous people.

Members of the University of the Third Age (U3A) were treated to a journey of discovery at the Northfield Methodist Church in Northmead recently. Guest speaker Sonja Richter spoke about her life as a tour guide.

Sonja is a qualified geologist with a PhD and after being a geologist for many years, took tour guiding courses. She has devoted 20 years to the tourist industry and frequents the SADC countries.
