Photography enthusiasts gather in Benoni for congress
The attending clubs included Benoni (the hosts), Kempton Park, Boksburg and Springs camera clubs.
More than 100 photography enthusiasts gathered on October 19 for the annual East Rand Photographic Society congress and inter-club competition at Northfield Methodist Church.
All attendees were treated to a lunch and entry to all the lectures.

“This is a social gathering for people who have a similar hobby and pushes people to their fullest potential,” said Shane Else, chairperson of Benoni Camera Club.
Those who attended the event enjoyed listening to guest speakers Steve Castings, Meghan McCabe and Peter Moray.
Clubs take turns to host the congress every year.
